Anneke is passionate about helping organisations to become the best that they can be with regards to workplace safety, organisational culture, environment and productivity. With over 15 years’ experience in work health and safety, risk and injury management, Anneke has the qualifications and experience to assist organisations to identify and expand opportunities and deliver positive outcomes.
Anneke has tertiary education in science (physiology), law, occupational health safety, including epidemiology and injury management, and she holds professional accreditation as a lead auditor with Exemplar Global. She has a diverse background working with employers such as BHP in fatal risk control, the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (IMVS now known as SA pathology) in food, environment and infectious disease laboratories and with SAPOL in forensics services. These roles, combined with over ten years as an evaluator of self-insured employers for ReturnToWorkSA have provided Anneke with unique insights into the risks and opportunities organisations are faced with.
Anneke is an experienced auditor of business management systems, particularly work health and safety and injury management. With the ability to identify not only areas of risk but opportunities, Anneke is able to conduct audits which are supported by sound professional advice, thus ensuring quality outcomes. She is an inspiring and dynamic public speaker, able to develop and facilitate programs to drive improvements in workplace culture, organisational change and risk management. With extensive experience in strategic planning, system development and review, Anneke is able to develop and review management systems and assist in implementation of sustainable WHS, injury and risk Management solutions in the context of complex environments, including food safety, infection control, quality and environmental management systems.
